Ah, editing.

So, there's a little project my Twinkielasher and I have been doing. A woman named Sandra Sixxx, the leader of the Deathstars support sent all of the supporters a request to make a video for Deathstars. Twinkielasher and I were two of the individuals who she asked, and Twinkielasher had the best idea for a video. We were both extremely excited and got to work on it as soon as possible. It went well, went perfect actually. We fucked around with cowbells, those things you blow for parties, we had a Broomitar (broom guitar) and a Broomiphone (Broom microphone with tin foil on the end of the stick.) And we were definately some humorous bitches. My mom loved it and busted a gut about the whole thing.

Then we came back inside, all smiles and happy that we finally finished it. Turns out, I lost the USB cable. So, we took the memory card out and put it into this card reader. Nothing was on it. We sat there for a bit wondering why the fuck there wasn't. Then, Twinkielasher took on some reading and figured out our problem. HDD.. HDD means Hard Drive Disk, or something like that. So, the videos weren't saved on the memory card, just the camera itself- I don't have an AC adaptor or a fucking USB cable so we were fucked. Guess what we had to do? We had to switch the settings to the memory card, and we had to do it ALL. OVER. AGAIN.

9 PM until 4 AM, mind you, we started at 9, finished by like.. 11:30-ish I believe, and had to do the rest until 4.

The next day? There was a lot of issues. It was up to me to edit the video, while it was up to Twinnie to do the photoshop images and things. I thought the editing of the video was going to be a piece of cake, but it took damn near all day for it to work. Which it didn't. So, that put our moods in the shitter since we were quite excited about the video being done by then.

On a lighter note, today, IT'S WORKING!!!

It turns out the conversion of the files worked and now I get to edit my little heart out! That excites me big time. The video is going to be done either sometime tonight or tomorrow ^_~ I'll be sure to post it up here!
